The Scouts are running their own expedition/patrol camp.

Drop off will be in Haverlands Lane Car Park,Barnsley, S70 5NQ (What 3 words: ///drama.drums.guard) for the expedition part of the weekend and pickup will be Silverwood Scout Camp in Barnsley, Silkstone, Barnsley S75 4LB.

Cost: £30

The weekend will consist of the Scouts completing their Expedition Challenge as well as parts of their Outdoor Challenge badge. Due to the nauture of the Expedition challenge badge we can only run this every couple of years so might not do another before your young person turns 14. After the expedition your young person will be asked to do a short presentation (Powerpoint, Booklet or however they choose to) on one of the weeks after they come back. They will walk in their patrols and leaders will be along the route to keep an eye on them and make sure they’re alright.
